The EZ and EZ Competition board as well as the Plug n Power manipulates' the engine tuning parameters through the Can-Bus communication channels. This method of communication is what separates the products offered in North America. These boards have the ability to alter the time of injection, which can assist in keeping your engine temperatures down when pulling out 40-120 horsepower increases.
These products incorporate turbo boost control monitoring and tuning which signals the fuel pump to keep working when it normally pulls back because of the stock boost pressure ceiling. Each product has boost line and waste gate lever controls to capture more turbo boost. Separate Boost Fooler kits and X Hooks are available for engine controls that are produced with out this function.
The Plug n Power adapters fit on to the rear of the Bosch fuel pump and the EZ product adapters fit the Engine data port behind the fuel filter. The EZ Competition and EZ Pulse also have connections for the pump solenoid wire. This connection results in additional control of the fuel map for additional power increments right up to 120-rear wheel horse power.
The Plug n Power offers 14 different tuning programs that can be flashed in its memory. 60 Horsepower programs are available for CARB tested trailer towing or high altitude operation and XXX pulse high flow injectors or even propane-boosted engines.
The EZ 60 HP tuning is done on its board with 3 different power level switches. The EZ 120 HorsePower Competition box has a touch sensitive pad on the face with arrows that can select 5 levels. By holding the on/off button 4 sub-levels in each level are available. You can de-rate the fuel at low engine rpm to clean up the emissions but yet have peak power from mid range up to peak rpm.
The EZ Pulse board mounts in the engine compartment and adapts to the engine data port, turbo map sensor and fuel solenoid wire just like the Competition model. It has 4 levels of power that are adjusted with internal switches. It is a simple big power gain with EZ controls that does not have to be mounted in the cab.

EZ Power
EZ Power is available by simply plugging into the Cummins ISB data port located by the fuel filter on Ram applications and the turbo boost sensor plug. The Bosch fueling parameters as well as time of injection and turbo MAP data that is sent through the CAN-BUS is re-mapped. An increase of 60 Rear Wheel Horse Power and 160 foot pounds of torque is achieved within minutes. An internal stepper switch can be set for 3 different fuel ramp settings which controls low engine rpm smoke level.
Competition Power
Competition Power is achieved by attaching this box to the Bosch fuel pump wire and into the ISB engine data port as well as to the turbo boost sensor plug. You can select from 5 different power settings from 40 to 120 rear wheel horse power on the touch sensitive front face plate. The box simply mounts under the dash. Each power level also has an embedded submenu that can be accessed by holding down the on/off button. The fuel rating can be altered or delayed to match large injectors or big turbos. This box not only amplifies the fuel solenoid signal, but also manages the injection timing and turbo boost to keep temperatures and black smoke at a minimum, but power at its maximum.
Pulse power
Pulse Power combines the EZ Power and the Competition Power box data controls and connections. It is priced in-between the above boxes and offers similar controls. The box is mounted in the engine compartment. It contains stepper switches that result in 4 different power tuning levels for power increases between 40 and 90 rear wheel horse power.
