Performance Transmissions
Transmissions normally fail from low pressure, which causes clutches to slip and burn oil. When the oil over heats it loses it's lubrication qualities and results in parts seizing together. The clutch and metal particles plug the ports as the transmission progressively destroys itself.
Our transmission department is equipped to rebuild the transmission to better than new specifications. We set the valve body pressures for firm positive shifts. The center support is modified to reduce cross leaks and for improved stability. New hard-wired solenoid parks that are more responsive are installed. The pump is modified to increase volume and flow and a hardened boost sleeve is installed.
All the transmissions are tested with a matched convertor on our transmission dynamometer before it leaves the shop. A deep sump cast aluminum pan is installed and a BD Torque Convertor is matched to the transmission to complete the kit for shipping. Torque convertors are not included in the kit price but the deep sump cover is!
